Team Summary

The Guest Self Service Team, part of the historic Property Web Services Workgroup, addressed interfaces between hotel-based systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) Systems, with kiosks and other guest self-service devices. They aimed to build solutions for the next generation of technologies to enable hotel customers to perform various functions themselves, including booking and ordering services, using various devices, ideally of the customers’ choice.
