Current Workgroup Charter Outline

Business Problem

  • A Hosted Payment Capture System provides the means to collect payment information from a customer on a system that is hosted by other than the hotelier, therefore removing the hotelier systems from the scope of PCI. Many hotel companies find they need to use the resources of multiple payment capture systems in the course of their business. Currently there are no standards for the interactions between these Hosted Payment Capture Systems and the hotelier, requiring custom implementations for each one.

Outcomes

  • Product solutions for hosted capturing and processing of payment information and application of the payment information back to hotelier systems.

Deliverables

  • Release new Hosted Payment Capture Systems specification - May 2012

Status

The workgroup is retired, and thus not meeting regularly.
